JISC Collections for Schools is a Becta-funded initiative which enables schools across the UK to benefit from discounts of up to 75% on a range of high quality online subscription resources, specially selected to support the needs of teachers and learners.
A choice of 11 products is currently available – from newspaper archives, general reference and copyright-cleared images providing support across the curriculum, to resources for subjects including Art, History, Modern Languages, Music, and Science. Additional resources will be available from September 2009.
All resources are available to state-funded primary and secondary schools, and 6 of the resources are also available to independent schools.
